About me:

View Beachdown Festival 2008 highlights here!

Set in the beautiful designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty site of the South Downs just north of Brighton – Beachdown offers comfortable, secure camping including a quiet family camping area and a guarantee of having the driest underfoot site of anywhere in the UK due to the chalk base of the South Downs – rainwater simply seeps straight away. So sorry – no mud-baths here.

Beachdown is proud to bring you an eclectic line-up of music, film and comedy entertainment which captures in one weekend the full range of global and local influences that our host city Brighton has to offer.

With legendary international acts through to the best of Brighton bands performing on 4 stages we offer a total of 42 hours of entertainment across the August Bank Holiday weekend.

In addition we offer Award-winning cuisine from our selection of local food partners including Pintxo People, Due South and Indian Summer. All food supplied at Beachdown is sourced from Brighton and the surrounding areas to fully involve local businesses, to stimulate the local economy and to give individual businesses the chance to get involved in what we want to be their event as much as ours.

So if you want unrivalled quality in music, food, drink, location and Festival experience there is nothing like Beachdown. You may have tried the rest but you won’t go anywhere else once you’ve been to Brighton's very own Beachdown Festival.

See you in August 2009
